Early bird tickets for the 2009 Lollapalooza festival are now on sale over at Lollapalooza.com. The lineup has yet to be annoucned, so these early bird tickets are priced lower than regular tickets that will go on sale later this spring. However, Perry did recently confirm that Jane’s Addiction will indeed be a part of this year’s festival. So a weekend pass guarantees you some Jane’s Addiction in Chicago this August.
Here’s a fresh date to add to your summer plans. Jane’s Addiction will play the City Stages festival in Birmingham, AL on June 21st. For details visit the City Stages site.
Jane’s Addiction will play the Radio One/NME stage of the T In The Park festival on Saturday, July 11th at Balado park in Kinross-Shire, Scotland. Nine Inch Nails will follow Jane’s that night. The following night, July 12th, the two will be performing at the Oxygen festival at the Punchestown Racecourse in Co. Kildare, Ireland.
Rhino is offering a sneak peek listening party of a half dozen tracks from the soon to be released A Cabinet of Curiosities Box Set. The tracks they are steaming are: “Mountain Song” (Radio Tokyo demo), “Classic Girl” (demo), “Been Caught Stealing” (12″ remix), “L.A. Medley” (live), “Ain’t No Right” (live) and “Ocean Size” (live).
