Jane’s Addiction are playing this year’s PIC.NIC 2011 music festival in Tel Aviv, Israel. The show is to take place at the Tel Aviv Fairgrounds on September 1st. Tickets will go on sale April 20th. This show will be Jane’s Addiction’s first appearance in Israel.

Shalom Perry, Dave, Steven and…uh Eric’s replacement. I’m so STOKED you guys are going to play for us tomorrow night! Hope Perry’s voice is better. We could not have dreamed that you guys would be playing here in Israel, and we are so glad that you didn’t cave into pressure from the “Boycott Israeli aparthied” crowd. Those people are truly clueless. Although I personally totally oppose current Israeli government policies, calling Israel an “apartheid state” is a trendy, superficial and non-constructive way to label us, and there are other ways to address the political situation. SEE YOU TOMORROW!!!
ps. any way you guys could fit “Summertime Rolls” into the setlist? :-)
