Don’t Call Me Nigger, Whitey

Don’t Call Me Nigger, Whitey is a cover of a Sly & The Family Stone song that Jane’s Addiction performed with Ice-T and Ernie C of the band Body Count.  The two groups played this song together a number of times during the original Lollapalooza tour.

Footage of a recorded performance can be seen at the end of Perry Farrell’s movie Gift. An audio recording of this performance is found on the 1992 edition of the Trademark of Quality promo compilation and the A Cabienet of Curiosities box set.
