As of today, JanesAddiction.org and Perry-Farrell.net have merged into this single website. This has been a long time coming, and mostly has been held up by me needing to sit my ass down and do the server work to get it done. For those of you unaware, I have been hosting PF.net on my server for quite some time now and of course Mike has been amazing with his help in nailing down an unbelievable amount of solid tour information and more. So it really was the natural move to combine our efforts.
There is still some work to be done, but most of the stuff from PF.net has been moved and setup over here. The rest will follow shortly, and in the near future, the PF.net domains will simply redirect you here to JanesAddiction.org. All and all, I think this is a really positive move for both sites, and together we’ll continue to be the best single Jane’s Addiction information resource online.
Mike and I have been hard at work updating the tour section. Cleaning up venue names, adding artwork, and most importantly adding new shows and correcting info for existing shows. We’re in dire need for ticket and poster (etc.) scans for the 2009 shows. So if you have something Jane’s related that you can scan for the site, we’d love to have it. Yes, this site is still around. I finally got around to adding the rest of the 2009 tour dates as well as the upcoming Halloween and 2010 Australian dates to the site. Meanwhile, Mike has been working like crazy adding a ton of great info (including some newly uncovered dates) to the tour archive. So check that out. Perry Farrell has a new official website over at PerryFarrell.com. Head on over and you can check out his solo songs Go All the Way into the Twilight and Nasty Little Perv. There is also a music video for twilight. Go check it out.
Those of you interested in remixing the new studio recodings of Whores and Chip away should head on over to remix.nin.com and download the multi-tracks for those two songs. Then pull up GarageBand or your favorite mixing program and play with these new tunes.
The NIN/JA tour website, ninja2009.com, is now live. Go check out tour info, pictures, video and best of all, the FREE NIN/JA tour EP! The EP has new studio versions of Chip Away and Whores on it, as well as exclusive unreleased material from NIN and Street Sweeper. So go check out the site and download some new free music!
Trent announced the launch of the NINJA2009.com website next Friday, March 20th on his twitter feed. No word on what is going to be there, but Trent is always good with providing online content to his fans. He also announced new NIN shows in Austin on 5/12 and Mansfield, MA on 6/3. No word on if those are NINJA shows or not. NIN and Jane’s have a previously announced date on 6/3. As soon as I have something concrete, I’ll be sure to post it.
