IGGY - Proto-punk Iggy Pop has done some pretty extreme stuff on stage in his day. But by most accounts, he's mellowed. Ig no longer flashes, or slashes open his chest with broken beer bottles. Now he just thrashes and writhes and bludgeons the audience with brutal rock. Jane's Addiction, one of the most critically acclaimed new bands on the scene, will open the show. The group has been referred to as a "thinking man's metal band." The show is Saturday at 8 p.m. at Jannus Landing. Tickets are $14 in advance (plus service charge), $16 day of show, available through Ticketmaster or at gate.
