Warren Zevon to rock at Park West Nov. 17

Warren Zevon will rock the Park West, 322 W. Armitage, at 7:30 and 11 p.m. Nov. 17. Tickets are $18.50. Fela will rock at 9 p.m. Nov. 23 ($20 in advance, $22.50 at door). Also, opening acts have been added to two Park West shows. The opening act for mellow singer Kenny Rankin will be Karla Bonoff at 8 p.m. Nov. 25 ($16.50). Brenda Russell will warm up the audience for Jeffrey Osborne at 7:30 and 11 p.m. Nov. 18 ($27.50). Jane's Addiction will play progressive rock at 7:30 p.m. Nov. 23 and 25 at Cabaret Metro, 3730 N. Clark. Live Skull will open the show on Nov. 25. Tickets are $3 advance and $5 at the door and are available now at Ticketmaster (559-1212). Ticket prices have been changed for In Tua Nua, who will play rock at 11 p.m. Nov. 11. Prices are $3 in advance until 10:30 p.m. the night of the show. After 10:30 p.m., tickets will be $6. Also at the Metro, Alien Sex Fiend, set for 11 p.m. Nov. 4, has been canceled.

A special matinee of "Romeo and Juliet" has been added for 2:30 p.m. Nov. 5 at the Goodman Theatre, 200 S. Columbus. Tickets are $17 for the William Shakespeare drama (443-3800).

Tickets are on sale now for a closed-circuit cable broadcast of the Sugar Ray Leonard vs. Donny Lalonde fight at 8 p.m. Nov. 7 at Faces, 940 N. Rush. Tickets are $50 and available at Ticketmaster outlets (559-1212).

Previews will continue through Sunday for "Hair," the revival of the '60s musical, at the Vic, 3145 N. Sheffield. Previews are $15 to $19.50. The regular run starts Tuesday, when tickets will be $25 to $29.50 (853-3636).

"Animal Farm" has been extended to Nov. 27 at Bailiwick Repertory, 3212 N. Broadway. The George Orwell play will be presented at 8 p.m. Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays and 3 p.m. Sundays. "Orwell Down and Out" will run in repertory with "Animal Farm." Tickets for all shows (previews and regular shows) are $5 (883-1090).

Previews will continue at 5:30 and 9:30 p.m. tomorrow and Nov. 5 and 3 and 7 p.m. Sunday and 8 p.m. Tuesday through Nov. 4 for "Stepping Out" at the Steppenwolf Theatre Company, 2851 N. Halsted. Tickets for Osbourne go on sale tomorrows

Ozzy Osbourne and Anthrax will rock the Rosemont Horizon, 6920 N. Mannheim, at 8 p.m. Dec. 17. Tickets go on sale at 10 a.m. tomorrow at Ticketmaster outlets (559-1212) and not at the Horizon box office. Tickets are $17.50.

Tickets will go on sale today for Tom Jones, who will sing pop songs at 8:30 p.m. March 10, 8 p.m. March 11 and 7:30 p.m. March 12 at the Holiday Star Theatre, Interstate 65 and U.S. 30 in Merrillville. Tickets are $21. House Rockin' Blues will feature John Mayall, Buddy Guy, Koko Taylor and the Kinsey Report with Big Daddy at 8 p.m. Jan. 6. Tickets are $14 and on sale now.
