OHIO THEATRE BOOKS JAZZ GREAT MILES DAVIS FOR OCT. 9 SHOW
Miles Davis, believed by many to be the greatest living jazz man in America, will play the Ohio Theatre at 7:30 p.m. Oct. 9.
Tickets at $18.50 go on sale today at all Ticketmaster outlets.
Davis, one of the most influential jazz trumpeters of all time, will play this concert as part of the Columbus USA Weekend Celebration.
Pat Benatar, riding the success of her top-hit single All Fired Up from her recent Wide Awake In Dreamland album, will play Veterans Memorial Auditorium at 8 p.m. Sept. 27.
Tickets, $16, go on sale today at all Ticketmaster locations.
The last time Iggy Pop played Columbus, the Newport Music Hall was known as the Agora and Iggy jammed there with David Bowie.
Pop will return to the Newport at 8 p.m. Sept. 19. Tickets, $13 in advance and $14 the day of the show, will go on sale Tuesday at all Ticketmaster outlets.
