Show Information:

Perry and Dave discuss playing in Hamburg, Germany during their first UK tour in an interview with Roy Trakin.

Large portions of this interview are later used on the band's promo LP and cassette "Words and Music".

Here's a rough transcription of the portion of the interview that pertains to this show:

Roy Trakin: This is the kind of thing (The Nothing's Shocking LP) that might go over well in Europe. Now you've toured Europe, yes? Were you there on a promotional tour or...?

Dave: Some what... we did London. We did Hamburg and um... Hamburg was... there were riots everywhere, people screaming, and ripping at our cloths. It was amazing.

Roy Trakin: How did you go over (laughing) how did you go over there? Ooh... other than that? Fine? (laughing)

Dave: No there was... there was about twelve people there and they all filtered out one by one and it turned out there were about three girls there watching us.

Perry: Well there was three... yeah there was three people in the front that wouldn't let us leave. They really wouldn't let us leave. They loved us and they were completely drunk and we just kept playing for them.

Dave: And our show was over and we just kept playing and we just like rehearsed.

Perry: And you know it was funny too because you know... I'm going... "Well you know there are only three people left but they are girls. Maybe we'll get laid right?" After the show was over we played for them only. They were the only three people in the club but after the show was over they didn't want to have anything to do with us. (laughing) They left.
