You dutifully went to your favorite agency Saturday to get tickets to Jane's Addiction's April 22 Spectrum show because it said here last week that that's when they'd go on sale. Only they weren't on sale. That's because a last-minute, undisclosed hitch developed. Further intelligence later.

NO GO

Why didn't tickets go on sale Saturday to the Jane's Addiction show April 22 at the Spectrum Showcase Theater? We hear Spectacor management balked at the floor plan for the concert, which was to have included an open dance area in front of the stage. J.A. hated playing the Tower last year because the kids couldn't cut loose in front of the stage. But others can't forget that recent AC/DC show at the (Spectacor-managed) Salt Palace in Salt Lake City, where three AC/DC fans were trampled in a rush toward the dance floor.
