PERRY FARRELL:

Perry Farrell is quite simply, one of the most influential and original musical figures of our lifetime. Dubbed as the "Godfather of Alternative Rock," Farrell put together what would become one of the greatest rock bands of all time, Jane's Addiction in the early 80's. Emerging from the underground LA music scene, Jane's Addiction, under the leadership of Farrell, spearheaded Alternative Rock's eventual mainstream attention, acceptance and success in the 1990s. Creating a new genre and musical movement, Farrell and Jane's addiction changed the music scene and paved the way for bands such as Nirvana, Pearl Jam, Alice in Chains, and STP to follow. Two of Jane's Addiction's platinum-certified albums, 1988's "Nothing Shocking" and 1990's "Ritual De Lo Habitual," are considered classics, proving to be important and incredibly influential on the 90's alt-rock scene.

In 1993, Perry created his next project, Porno for Pyros, which showcase Perry's diversity and growth. Both their 1993 self-titled debut album and 1996's Good God's Urge received heavy radio rotation.

MTV listed Farrell as one of the top ten most influential people of the 90's. Farrell is also the creator and director of the visionary music festival, Lollapalooza. Launched in 1991, Spin magazine listed Lollapalooza as the #1 tour that changed the world. Known for it's musical diversity, Lollapalooza was the first to bring together alternative rock, Hip Hop and Electronica. Lollapalooza was instrumental in exposing alternative music formats to the masses and establishing a sense of commonality across an otherwise hopelessly fragmented demographic. The first of it's kind, Lollapalooza quickly established itself as a lifestyle festival, pushing the envelope and exposing concert goers to a subculture of 'alternative' living that included tattoos, body modification and extreme sports. Lollapalooza also brought attention to art and provided a platform for numerous environmental and human- rights causes as well.

In 2001, Farrell's solo album Song Yet to be Sung found Farrell transformed once again, taking a much more spiritual and electronic approach to production. Reassembling Jane's Addiction for the Jubilee Tour, Farrell raised a substantial amount of money for the relief fund and the rescuing of slaves in Sudan. Being extremely passionate about this human rights cause, Farrell risked his life and personally went into the civil war zone of Sudan, to bring freedom to the slaves that his contribution had bought.

For the last 8 years, Farrell has enjoyed life as an international DJ. With an appetite for super-mixed danceteria rhythms and shimmering textures, Farrell performs under the name "Peretz." He has been hired by Marc Jacobs to perform his 'Party set' at Marc's fashion week after-parties for the last 4 years, and is the only person to have manned the decks at Coachella every year. He has graced the stage at Miami's Ultra Music Festival, one of the largest dance music festivals in the world, and he recently was invited to perform as a DJ for the opening of the Museum Of Modern Art in New York.

As a surf and extreme sport enthusiast and athlete, Farrell is the reigning champion of the Kelly Slater/Quicksilver Invitation - Celebrity division, which was held in Tavarua, Fiji in 2005.

Projects in Production:

In 2006, the ever-evolving Farrell will build the launch pad for what is anticipated to be his masterpiece - "Satellite Party". A musical blend of rock, electro, and theatre, that will do for the new millennium what Farrell did for the end of the last one.

With a successful transformation from a "touring rock show" to a "destination festival" in 2005, Lollapalooza will return once again to Chicago in 2006.

Farrell was also the writer, producer and director of the cult classic movie, "gift", which enjoyed a successful run at the Sunset Strip Midnight Matinee in Los Angeles for a year. It is schedule to be release on DVD by Warner Brothers in 2006.

Always looking to the future, Perry Farrell; already a living legend, will no doubt be making history for many more years to come.
