Lil' Lollapalooza
Call it Lollapalooza lite.
In an effort to spark ticket sales and whet consumers' appetites for the upcoming Lollapalooza festival, the tour's promoters have formed Club Lollapalooza, a scaled-down version of the music and lifestyle event.
The club tour will land in a handful of cities this week and will boast perfs from three of the event's big acts: Porno for Pyros, Jeremy Toback and Old '97's. Skeleton Key will appear in place of Old '97's at the club tour's first outing June 3 at the Supper Club in N.Y.
Other stops include the Chili Pepper in Fort Lauderdale, Fla., on June 4 and the Metro in Chicago on June 5.
