This show is sold as an official release as the Live '86 disc with the blessing of Perry Farrell. It claims to be the first recording of Jane's Addiction. However, the Black Radio Club show from January '86 predates this show and was recorded. It is not even the first recording of Jane's in concert with Dave Navarro and Steve Perkins.
None of the songs from the soundcheck are complete and all with the exception of Had A Dad lack vocals.
The audio from this show is taken from a VHS source, which is the only known recording of this show. The recording quality is petty bad, but still an early glimpse as the band.
