According to Rolling Stone, Jane’s Addiction is among the bands nominated for induction into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame in 2017. The list of bands and artists set to be inducted will be revealed in December of this year. This is the band’s first appearance on the nomination list since being eligible.
Jane’s Addiction will be performing with The Cult, Garbage, House of Pain and the Violent Femmes at the Irvine Meadows Amphitheatre on September 23, 2016.
It’s worth noting that former Jane’s bassist has been the touring bassist for Garbage for a number of years.
Jane’s Addiction will embark on the Sterling Spoon Anniversary tour for the month of July, celebrating the 25th anniversaries of Ritual de lo Habitual and the original Lollapalooza tour. Jane’s will cap off their July tour at the 2016 Lollapalooza festival in Chicago. The dates are as follows:

Jane’s Addiction will be headlining one of the nights of the 2016 Shaky Knees Festival in Centennial Olympic Park & International Plaza in Atlanta, GA.

According to JamBands.com and JamBase, Stephen Perkins, along with members of Parliament Funkadelic, Living Colour, Fishbone and more will play an event called Wild Fiya at One Eye’d Jack’s in New Orleans, LA on May 2, 2014. The set is scheduled to kick off at 2am, so technically the event is on May 3rd, but that’s not how it is being advertised.
