100 Waves

100 Waves is a silverback CD bootleg put out by Hawk Records.  It uses a pair of soundboard recordings, the first taken from the December 12, 1993 KROQ Acoustic Christmas show at the Universal Amphitheater in Universal City, CA and the January 7, 1994 show at the Hollywood Palladium in Los Angeles, CA.  The album title is a misnomer for the song 100 Ways.  Interestingly enough, the album lists that song correctly on its track list.

The tracks Cook The Rice, Pete’s Dad and Pets are the same recordings officially released on the single for Sadness. The track ‘Twas the Night Before Christmas is a reading of the classic to the crowed by Henry Rollins of Rollins Band and Black Flag fame.

The final track on this bootleg is a cover of I Got A Right originally by Iggy & The Stooges.

An interesting note about the artwork, same picture and text is printed on both sides of the disc’s u-card, however the back of the u-card also has a stamp imprint on it.  The disc does not come with a clear CD holder, so many do not know about the double sided print.
