Words and Music LP Label Side 1

Words and Music

Words and Music is an interview promo for the Jane’s Addiction album Nothing’s Shocking.  It was released by Warner Brothers in late 1988 on 12″ Vinyl and cassette.  The interview was conducted in November 1988 by Roy Trakin in Sherman Oaks, CA.

The interview itself is only with Perry Farrell and Dave Navarro as Eric Avery and Stephen Perkins were giving the wrong directions and never found the studio.  This is the same session that produced the track City found on Soul Kiss and Kettle Whistle, and later on A Cabinet of Curiosities.

This promo includes snippets from the Nothing’s Shocking album interspersed around the interview.
