Jane’s Addiction releases statement about Dave & 2023 tour dates

Jane’s Addiction have released a statement on whom will be performing guitar on the upcoming tour dates later this year. Unfortunately Dave Navarro will not be talking part of the currently announced tour dates. Former Red Hot Chili Peppers guitarist Josh Klinghoffer, whom played with the guys on some of the dates of the Spirits on Fire tour in 2022, will be stepping in to play with the band.

The statement the band release is as follows:
Band Statement

We’d like to address the questions surrounding Dave and the upcoming

Jane’s shows. As a band we are in a great place, writing new music, and the bond is tighter than ever. We all hope Dave can be out playing with us; when he feels healthy and ready.

For the near future, our brother Josh Klinghoffer will jump in for the upcoming shows on the West Coast, South America and some additional international shows to be announced soon. We want to thank you for being there with us over these thirty some odd odd years. You know, we’re going to keep throwing down for you.

Jane’s Addiction announce 5 US shows in March

Jane’s Addiction have announced five shows in March in the US ahead of their trio of performances at the South American Lollapalooza festivals. Tickets for these new shoes go on sale later this week. No official word on the lineup just yet. I’ll update this post as soon as there is confirmation.

Update: It appears the poster (see below) has reversed the dates for the two Nevada shows. Both the Ticketmaster pages and event pages for The Cosmopolitan and the Grand Sierra Resort have the Reno date as 3/11 and the Vegas date as 3/12.
