Jane’s Addiction will also be playing the Capitol Theatre in Port Chester, NY according to BrooklynVegan.com; the site also says that all three NYC area shows will be full performances of the Nothing’s Shocking album.
In addition to headlining a night at Common Ground Festival in Lansing, MI on July 8, according to NextMosh.com, Jane’s Addiction will be performing at the Starland Ballroom in Sayreville, NJ on May 15, and The Paramount in Huntington, NY on May 18. According to Postcrescent.com, Jane’s Addiction will be performing at Summerfest at the Marcus Amphitheater in Milwaukee, WI on July 4.

Updated at 08:19am, March 10, 2015INDIANAPOLIS (March 10, 2015) – Jane’s Addiction, O.A.R. and 38 Special will perform for the annual Coors Light Carb Day concert at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway, track officials announced Tuesday.
The concert is Friday, May 22, at 3:30 p.m. on the Turn 4 Coors Light stage in the IMS infield. The show is free with Coors Light Carb Day admission of $30. Fans who want to rock out in the Coors Light Concert Pit can buy an additional $10 upgrade. This marks the first year that the concert has featured three bands.
Grammy- and Rock and Roll Hall of Fame-nominated Jane’s Addiction will headline the concert. Other Carb Day events include the final practice for Indy 500 starters, the Indy Lights Freedom 100 race and the Tag Heuer Pit Stop Challenge.

Jane’s Addiction will be performing on the second night of the Bayfest Music Festival in Mobile, Alabama.
AltRock group joins Alabama, Ludacris, CeeLo Green, among others
Jane’s Addiction, with lead singer Perry Farrell and lead guitarist Dave Navarro, will be coming to BayFest in Mobile, event organizers said on Wednesday, July 30.
The announcement completes the 2014 lineup of the October 3-5 festival, which also includes Kid Rock, Alabama, Earth Wind & Fire, CeeLo Green, Stone Temple Pilots Foster the People and more.
“We are extremely excited to have Jane’s Addiction play our 20th Anniversary Festival,” said BayFest President and CEO Bobby Bostwick. “The energy and enthusiasm of Jane’s Addiction continues the BayFest tradition of great entertainment, atmosphere and the best variety in music at Alabama’s largest music festival.”
2014 marks the 20th year of the music festival and organizers say it could bring up to 200,000 people, to downtown Mobile. The organizers said in an earlier release that the festival started out with about 50,000 people during its debut in 1995. They said that, since then, the festival has generated $325 million in revenue.
According to NME, Stereo Board, and Get to the Front the two previously announced Jane’s Addiction shows in England this summer have been revealed to be concerts where the band will play their WB debut album Nothing’s Shocking in it’s entirety. This is similar to the trio of shows the band is playing in Las Vegas next month.

Band will perform ‘Nothing’s Shocking’ album in full during August gigsJane’s Addiction have announced details of live dates in London and Manchester later this year.
The band will perform their 1988 debut studio album ‘Nothing’s Shocking’ in full at London’s O2 Academy Brixton on August 20 before doing it all over again at the O2 Apollo in Manchester on August 21.
Speaking to NME, the band’s guitarist Dave Navarro, who has been lobbying the rest of the band to perform the album “for years and years”, said it will be the first time the band have played ‘Nothing’s Shocking’ in full.
He said: “Shows around that time were always a collection of new songs and older songs. I remember on the ‘Nothing’s Shocking’ tour we were playing songs from ‘Ritual (‘Ritual De Lo Habitual’, the 1990 follow-up)’, which was yet to be released.
“I’m really, really looking forward to playing it through. Stephen Perkins, Chris Chaney and I have played it a number of times together backstage where we have another set of guitars, amps and drums for warming up on. Last tour we played ‘Nothing’s Shocking’ all the way through and it sounded fantastic.”
Navarro went on to say that even though the band had performed some of the songs from the album in the past, playing the album from start to finish will give each of the tracks a different energy.
He revealed: “We’ll be more focused for sure. We’ve drifted from the original recordings when we play live, that’s just what happens, but at these shows in August, they’ll sound as they did all those years ago.”
He also added that even though he is now a more technically gifted guitarist, he hopes to recapture some of the youthful energy of the original recording, flaws and all. He stated: “I’ve not really listened to ‘Nothing’s Shocking’ since it came out but I have done recently. It was very strange and struck me how fearless we were, even though the playing’s not as good. It’s weird for me to have to relearn my own band’s music. A lack of education on your instrument can lead to more visceral music. But these shows are going to be great, and I can’t wait.”

Jane’s Addiction will be playing two shows in England this summer. This will be the band’s first performance in the United Kingdom since 2011. Dave Navarro posted about these two shows via his Facebook and Twitter accounts.
Jane’s Addiction, along with Rise Against, will headline The Shindig Music Festival on September 27, 2014 at Carroll Park in Baltimore, MD.
According to Jambands.com, Fishbone will be playing the aftershow for the three Jane’s Addiction shows in Vegas this May. It is worth noting that Fishbone came up in the L.A. music scene during the same time as Jane’s did, and Angelo Moore Norwood Fisher and Christopher Dowd of Fishbone both performed on the album cut of the iconic Jane’s Addiction song Idiots Rule. So while it hasn’t been announced or confirmed, it would certainly make sense for Norwood Angelo to perform along side JA (Christopher is no longer with the Fishbone). Absolutely no word if Flea (who also performed on the track) will appear, but it would be pretty badass if he did.
According to Billboard and The Hollywood Reporter, Jane’s Addiction will be performing 3 nights at the Brooklyn Bowl in Las Vegas, NV on May 8-10th. Interestingly enough, it lists that the band will be performing their album Nothing’s Shocking.

Brooklyn Bowl has announced the music calendar for its Las Vegas venue, which opens March 8. The bowling alley/rock club’s initial schedule includes shows by Jane’s Addiction, Primus, Cake, Phil & Friends, the Avett Brothers and Steve Winwood.
Brooklyn Bowl Las Vegas will be the third such club under the Brooklyn Bowl name. Less than two weeks ago, on Jan. 16, Brooklyn Bowl London opened its doors inside the O2 Arena complex. The original Brooklyn location in Williamsburg dates back to 2009.
“This is a pretty eclectic and diverse lineup,” says co-owner and Bowl founder Peter Shapiro. “It’s built for locals, for people who live nearby and for people who like to travel to see music. When we have a band for one night like The 1975, that’s more local. I think if you’re a big Primus fan, you’re coming out for three nights in Vegas. That’s what it’s being built for: For people to make a trip to come to Vegas, to go see your favorite bands.”
The calendar includes extended runs, such as 12 shows by the jazzy jam-band Galactic, Jane’s Addiction, Primus, Cake, Phil Lesh & Friends, the Avett Brothers, String Cheese Incident, O.A.R., Tedeschi Trucks Band and Karl Denson’s Tiny Universe will all play three-day weekend runs — perfect for the traveling music buff.
“In April when [Grateful Dead bassist] Phil Lesh plays, it’s going to go Phil Lesh at 9 o’clock, Trombone Shorty’s going to play a full show at one in the morning and Robert Randolph’s going to do gospel till dawn,” Shapiro crows. “It’s like a festival lineup in a club. I don’t think that’s got precedent, to be honest. I don’t know when that’s been done. I don’t know when there have been three bands doing full sets in a club.”
Brooklyn Bowl Las Vegas is located in The LINQ, Caesar’s new entertainment complex. “It’s at dead center 50-yard line on The Strip,” the New York-based music mogul explains. “It will have our Blue Ribbon menu, 32 lanes and 80,000 square feet in a free-standing building right under the biggest Ferris wheel in the world. It’s not in a casino. I think that’s an important element to creating vibe. It helps to have your own building and not be in the basement of a casino.”
“Vibe” is Shapiro’s favorite word. It all goes back to his original New York club, the Wetlands, which catered to the Grateful Dead, Phish and jam-band crowd in the ‘90s before it closed in 2001. Wetlands typically let out in the wee hours. Denizens treated it as a home away from home for improvisational music.
“It’s hard to put your finger on it,” he says. “It’s that energy in the air. It starts with the staff and security, how you treat the customer and how we treat the bands. You create an environment where shows can run till four in the morning, like at Wetlands. If we can bring that to Las Vegas, then we’re going to be in good shape.”
