Jane’s Addiction will be playing two shows in England this summer. This will be the band’s first performance in the United Kingdom since 2011. Dave Navarro posted about these two shows via his Facebook and Twitter accounts.
After Jane’s Addiction was forced to cancel this past weekend’s performances at the Reading and Leeds festivals due to Perry Farrell losing his voice, tonight’s show in London was put into question. Well, Dave Navarro posted this to twitter minutes ago:

Remember that rumor late last month about Jane’s Addiction playing the free “Rage Factor” gig on June 6 in London with Rage Against The Machine? Well if such a plan was in the works, things must have fallen through. The show is just under three weeks away, and no one in the Jane’s camp has confirmed this show. Even more telling is that the originators of this rumor, The Daily swarm, updated their article with the press release for the event. The press release lists the guests as confirmed and includes times for each act. Who is not on that list? Jane’s Addiction. You can see the press release after the jump.
The Daily Swarm is reporting that Jane’s Addiction will be playing a free concert with Rage Against the Machine on June 6 at Finsbury Park in London, England. However, last night on Dark Matter, Dave Navarro denied that this is going on. So is this concert really going to happen? Have the details not been locked down yet? The NINJA 2009 tour is heading to England. Jane’s Addiction and Nine Inch Nails will play the M.E.N. Arena in Manchester, England on July 14th and the O2 Arena in London, England on July 15th. Presale for both shows is this Tuesday, April 14th at 5pm local time at NIN.com. Jane’s website has yet to post any presale info for these shows. Regular tickets go on sale this Friday, April 17th.
