Perry Farrell announced earlier today via twitter that Jane’s Addiction have been forced to cancel their Holiday Havoc Las Vegas show due to a family emergency.
So Sorry Las Vegas. Jane’s has cancelled 12/7 due to a family emergency.
Update (12/8): Word is that Steve Perkins’ father is battling cancer. From everyone at JanesAddiction.org, we wish Steve’s family our best. Your fans understand that family comes first.
Jane’s Addiction are playing night two of this year’s KROQ Almost Acoustic Xmas show. The show takes place December 11th at the Gibson Amphitheater in West Hollywood, CA Universal City, CA. Other acts on the bill include: The Black Keys, Cage The Elephant, Death Cab For Cutie, Florence + The Machine, Foster The People, Grouplove, Mumford & Sons, The Naked And Famous, and Noel Gallagher’s High Flying Birds. The show scheduled for December 30th at the Neal S Blaisdell Arena in Honolulu has been canceled.
Jane’s are playing the Live 105 Not So Silent Night show On December 9th. The show will take place at the Oracle Arena in Oakland, CA. Other bands on the bill include Mumford & Sons, Florence + The Machine, Bush, and Young The Giant. Check janesaddiction.com or the Live 105 site for ticket info.
Jane’s Addiction are playing at this year’s Google I/O Event on Tuesday, May 10th. The show is at the Moscone West Convention Center in San Francisco and will be streamed on youtube. You can watch it live below.
Jane’s Addiction are playing this year’s PIC.NIC 2011 music festival in Tel Aviv, Israel. The show is to take place at the Tel Aviv Fairgrounds on September 1st. Tickets will go on sale April 20th. This show will be Jane’s Addiction’s first appearance in Israel.
Jane’s Addiction has been confirmed as one of the acts taking place at this year’s Splendour in the Grass festival taking place July 29-31 at North Byron Parklands in Woodford, Queensland, Australia. The festival schedule has not been posted yet, so we’re not sure which day they’re playing.
Jane’s Addiction is one of the acts named for the 2011 Reading and Leeds Festivals, headlining the NME / BBC Radio 1 stage.
Jane’s Addiction has been confirmed for the 2011 Buzzfest in Spring, TX on May 1st. They are scheduled to perform from 9:25 to 10:45pm.
